Compared to traditional agency and consultant companies, Confidence Education puts forward a completely new theory –a ‘before study abroad’ consultant service and an ‘after study abroad’ consultant service. Confidence aims at the specific market segmentation dominated by general students and slower students. Confidence not only designs tailored “before study abroad” programs that change slower students into top-notch ones, but also have these programs executed and supervised by the experienced “after study abroad team, whose members are the vivid examples of this change.
As the name implies, a ‘before study abroad’ consultant service means that the professional institutions provide consultant services for students in their home country including study plans and university applications. We would like to remind all the students and parents to try to select a qualified counselor and consultant company rather than those traditional agencies that charge two-way (they charge both agent fees and school commission).
An ‘after study abroad’ consultant service means the counselor or company in the overseas study country provides the consultant services for the student when they arrive. This includes preparing the plan for entering the university, one-to-one tutoring service for assessment and exam, adjusting the study plan, assisting in adapting to the local society, instructing to build local connections, providing work training and information, and communicating with student’s parents in their home country to report the study process, and offering the solutions, etc. An ‘after study abroad’ consultant service plays an essential role in the progress of overseas study and further career. However, there are limited number of high-quality professional counselor and educational companies providing relevant services and it can be easily ignored by students and their parents.
